Warner Bros. World, Abu Dhabi | Tom and Jerry, Swiss Cheese Spin

Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi is a planned indoor amusement park in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates owned and developed by Miral Asset Management, LLC at an expected cost of $1 billion. The park features characters from Warner Bros’s franchises, such as Looney Tunes, DC Comics, Hanna-Barbera and others licensed by Miral. and is organized into six themed areas, Gotham City, Metropolis, Cartoon Junction, Bedrock, Dynamite Gulch, and Warner Bros Plaza.

Cartoon Junction: Join the madcap duo in Cartoon Junction’s Tom and Jerry Swiss Cheese Spin as they do what they do best; an epic chase full of twists, turns and hilarious havoc! You’ll find yourself at Tom and Jerry height, in car-sized wedges of Swiss cheese, while everything else is huge.

Everyone’s favorite house cat Tom and cheeky, quick-witted mouse Jerry tangle over a delicious morsel of cheese; whirl your way through their oversize house dodging obstacles and ducking into mouseholes as Tom chases Jerry and Jerry chases the cheese. Just as it is everyday for these two, it’s madcap mayhem!

While at Thinkwell, I was a part of the team responsible for creating and developing designs for the Cartoon Junction. We worked on the Tom and Jerry attraction, which is an indoor roller coaster. I worked with the technical department over the Reach Envelope study, and object/prop placement.

We created the 3D model for the ride, to take into the “No Limits” software, to create ride simulations to better help us understand the space and the ride flow.

Software Used: AutoCAD, Maya, Photoshop.
